Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus with 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, Android 6.0 launched for Rs. 3999
Micromax has launched Canvas Spark 2 Plus, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Canvas series and the upgraded version of last year’s Canvas Spark 2. It has a 5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
This is the company’s first smartphone to come with Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) our of the box. Apart from RAM and internal storage that have been upgraded to 1GB and 8GB, respectively, battery has also been upgraded to 2000mAh, compared to 1800mAh on the Spark 2. It has support for more than 10 regional languages.
Commenting on the new launches, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics, said, “A large number of consumers are still using feature phones or a second hand phones, which provide immense scope and potential for them to upgrade to affordable smartphones. The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus comes in Metallic Grey, Copper Gold and Champagne Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 3,999, same as the Canvas Spark 2. It will be exclusively available from Snapdeal starting from tomorrow, April 21st through open sale.
