These days at Indian box office, all eyes are set on the performance of recently released Bollywood biggie Shahrukh Khan starrer Fan. But there is one more movie, which is raking extremely well and performing tremendously from last week. Yes we are talking about none other than the fantasy adventure Hollywood movie ‘The Jungle Book’. Walt Disney’s this latest offering has received very positive reviews from Indian critics as well as audience and is being loved by everyone. The overwhelmed response of audience has made it the second highest opening weekend, opening week & grosser movie of the year so far at Indian box office after superstar Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.

In its opening week, The Jungle Book has witnessed amazing response and craze of audience toward itself. It has reported the phenomenal business of 74.08 cr, that includes 40.47 cr of weekend and 33.61 cr of weekdays. The movie has successfully dominated the previous much hyped Hollywood movies Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and even all Bollywood movies too; that have released this year except Airlift. Now The Jungle Book is running in the second week and despite much awaited Fan in opposite, it has enough hold over audience and adding excellent business figures to its account.

On Friday it has minted the amount of 8.02 cr as its 8th day collection across the country. On the next day i.e. Saturday it collected little higher and ofcourse impressive amount of 8.51 cr. On Sunday, being holiday The Jungle Book has initiated the day with better occupancy and collected 10.67 cr as its 10th day collection; made its total as 101.82 cr. With this, it has become the 5th Hollywood movie to cross 100 cr on Indian box office after Furious 7, Avatar, Jurassic World & Avengers: Age of Ultron.
