New Delhi, 19 December 2016/Team Estrade//– VOIZD, Voice Without Fear, world’s first audio based anonymous social networking App – a new place for India’s social savvy youngsters. The application has been built with an aim to provide everybody with the basic right of free Speech and to create a social space and community where everyone can Share their real thoughts without the fear of ever being judged, labeled or trolled.
For the enterprising and social savvy Indians, the social media app VOIZD will emerge as one of the newest frontiers other than facebook or twitter for sharing opinions. VOIZD is a mobile app that allows people to record 30-second audio clips on any topic. Whether it’s speaking up on national and international issues or giving vent to personal or professional frustrations, its users are feeling empowered to express themselves in their own unique ways.
The Company was co-founded in mid September 2016 by Sameer Agarwal and Pooja Daswani. Prior to launching VOIZD, Sameer was part of the Founding Team and Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Ad—sales at Rocke Talk, India’s largest interest based mobile social networking application.
This seeded the idea of creating a safe space where people can be themselves, while the app was still on the drawing board a conversation with an acquaintance made the team realized that traditional social spaces today are owned by English speaking Audience and people who are not very comfortable with English or other written forms get hard end of the stick, hence the team decided that Audio/ Voice based expression should be mainstay of the App, As everyone can speak even when they are not very comfortable in writing. What voice also does is that it keeps the essence, emotion, tonality, of the poster and hence the messages intact leading to a deeper connect between the poster and listener.
The bootstrapped company has approx 2000 active users which are further growing progressively. Further the company is looking for first round of funding.
Expressing thoughts on social networks, generally results into being trolled by people, who do not share the same opinion. It also involves being judged by others. Over the years Facebook & Twitter have become more of a virtual family album & a place where bullies thrive.
VOIZD is building a safe place for everyone to express themselves freely. To give voice to those hidden muted expressions, thoughts & opinions, which don’t find outlets today because society might find them “objectionable” or different.
