BMW India has decided to increase its range within the 5 Series.

Now a petrol variant of the BMW 5 Series will be available to customers in India. The German luxury car maker will now be offering both petrol as well as diesel engine option in their 5 Series (BMW 520i).

The all-new BMW 520i Luxury Line model is priced at Rs. 54 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new petrol-powered BMW 5 Series is now available in all showrooms across India. BMW India is offering the 520i model as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Powering the BMW 520i is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, TwinPower Turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 184bhp, along with 270Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. BMW is offering ECOPRO, Comfort, and Sport modes in the new 5 Series.

Only three body colour options can be opted for by customers buying BMW 520i model. Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and Imperial Blue Brilliant effect. Interior gets fine-wood trim Fineline Anthracite with highlight trim finisher in Chrome Pearl Grey.
