Voto Mobiles, manufactured by Chinese player Xunrui Communications, on Monday announced its foray into the Indian smartphone market.

India would be the first operating market for Voto Mobiles.

“Our vision is to revolutionise the Indian smartphone market with our affordable, simple yet feature-rich smart devices,” said Sayantan Dey, Business Head, Overseas, Voto Mobiles, in a statement.

“Xunrui’s more than a decade’s experience of catering to the needs of global mobile brands will help Voto to establish itself as a favourite brand for the Indian audience,” he added.

Xunrui has catered to the R&D and design requirements for several global mobile brands and is aiming to utilise its expertise in software and hardware.

Founded in 2007 as a sub-brand of Xunrui Communications, Voto Mobiles entered the telecommunication and consumer electronics industry with the introduction of feature phones in China.
