Chennai, 29th March 2017/Team Estrade//– The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of DMI College of Engineering recently conducted the 7th National Conference based on Communication and Information Engineering (NCCIE-17).

This prestigious event was held at the campus in the presence of honourable dignitaries Saif Ali Razvi, senior manager of Indus Software Technologies-Chennai, Rev.Sis.I.Arokia Mary, correspondent of DMICE, Dr.M.A.Leo Vigilious, principal of DMICE, Dr.K.G.Revathi, HOD of Electronics and Communication Engineering department of DMICE and placement manager Mr.Antony.

The welcome address was given by Dr.K.G.Revathi, HOD of Electronics and Communication Engineering department of DMICE and honoured the chief guest and guest of honour with a shawl and bouquet.

Chief guest Mr.Saif Ali Razvi addressed the gathering with the current technologies used in India and overseas. He motivated the gathering to sharpen their minds by updating themselves to the current scenario.

The paper presentation initiated with the release of the proceedings by the chief guest. Around 100 participants from various colleges and institutions around Chennai came and presented their research and papers. Among them the judges choose the best two papers and awarded them.

Vote of thanks was rendered by Dr.Jothi Muneeswari, professor of DMICE by the way of conveying gratitude on behalf of ECE department of DMICE. This event was very useful and informative for all the participants who participated in the conference and it was indeed a very grand success.
