Film to go on floor in December 2016

Following the unparalleled success of their Bengali films – Belaseshe and Praktan, Eros International Media Ltd., leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, reunites with makers Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee of Windows, to announce their next Bengali film Posto starring Soumitra Chatterjee, Lily Chakraborty, Jisshu Sengupta, Mimi Chakraborty, Paran Bandopadhyay and Sohini Sengupta among others. The film will go on floor in December 2016 and is slated for release in FY2018.
Directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee, Posto (a regular delicacy at any Bengali household), is a film based on the intricacies of human relationships. It is a story of how human relations manifests themselves through generations and how modern day parenting creates the contemporary value system among children. Multi-talented musicians – Anupam Roy, Anindya Chatterjee and Upal Sengupta – have come together to create music for this film.
Like its predecessors, the critically acclaimed Belaseshe followed by the much appreciated Praktan, both ofwhich ran in cinemas for over 100 days,Eros once again anticipates universal appeal for this family drama among audiences across the country, not just in Bengal.
