NMIMS Deemed-to-be University Partners with the University of Adelaide to Strengthen International Ties

Mumbai, 04 April 2023: SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Deemed-to-be University (NMIMS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Adelaide on March 24, 2023, to establish a framework for collaboration that will benefit their research and teaching activities and further the internationalisation of both institutions.

The MOU will facilitate the exchange of students and academic staff, exchange of publications, academic materials, and other information, collaborative degree programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, participation in PhD and Masters by Research programs by faculty/staff of either University, joint quality assurance and benchmarking, and other projects for mutual benefit that are agreed upon by both universities.

Following the signing, the participants had one-on-one meetings over tea to discuss and plan academic collaborations in the short-medium and longer term.

Dr Sharad Mhaiskar, Pro Vice Chancellor, NMIMS, said, “We are excited to enter into this partnership with the University of Adelaide. This collaboration will provide our students and faculty/staff with opportunities to engage in high-quality research and education with a leading institution in Australia. It will also enable us to further internationalise our teaching and research programs.
