Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei at CES unveiled the Honor 6X smartphone and this very smartphone will launch in India on January 24. The Honor 6X which is part of the online only Honor subsidiary is set to be launched for less than Rs 15,000 in India sources have revealed to PCMag India.

The phone was first showcased in October at China and post the launch of the phone at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the company sent out invites to the media for the launch of the phone in New Delhi on January 24.

The phone is said to become the most affordable device with dual rear cameras in India. It has a 12-megapixel rear sensor coupled with a 6 element lens and a depth sensor. On the front, the device packs in a 8-megapixel camera.

In terms of display, the device has a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen with a 2.5D curved cover glass. Internally, the phone has a Huawei’s own homegrown Hi Silicon Kirin 655 octa-core processor. It could be offered in two variants with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM, and it could come with 32GB and 64GB storage options.

Other features of the phone include support for 4G LTE with VoLTE, DTS Audio, a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and dual SIM support. It will also support Wi-Fi 802.ac and Bluetooth 4.1 and a 3,340mAh battery that will get charged through a microUSB slot.

Software wise, the phone is based on Android Marshmallow running Huawei’s Emotion UI.
