New Delhi: Comedian Kapil Sharma is back with a new show on Sony TV – ‘The Kapil Sharma show’. The promo of the show launched today delighting all his fans who waited with bated breathe ever since Comedy Nights With Kapil went off air.

The stand-up-comedian is back with his full team from CNWK – Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Sumona Chakravarty, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Navjot Singh Sidhu. The only member missing from Kapil’s team is 22 year old Bhua – Upasana Singh.

During the launch, Kapil looked confident and answered the questions in his own witty style. He was asked to comment on Krushna’s move to take digs at him on the first episode of Comedy Nights Live.

To which Kapil replied, “I want to entertain everyone. We will not retaliate by taking digs at Krushna. This is not my idea of entertainment.”

Well, looking at the promos, Kapil’s new show is definitely not a family drama unlike CNWK. Also, due to copyright issues he will not be able to use ‘Baba Ji Ka thullu’, certain punchlines, and names of characters “Gutthi’, ‘Palak’ and not even the Bakri. But, Kapil is leaving no stone unturned to make his show a success as the channel has shown immense faith on him.The Kapil Sharma Show will air on Sony from April 23, 2016, Sat-Sun 9.00pm.
